1 1/4 cups (125 grams) sifted cakeflour (nonie pakai tepung gandum
1/4 teaspoon salt
1 tablespoons (10 grams) regular or Dutch-processed cocoa powder(nonie gunaserbuk koko van-houtten)
1/4 cup (57 grams) unsaltedbutter, at room temperature
3/4 cups (150 grams) granulated whitesugar
1 large egg
1/2 teaspoon pure vanilla extract
1/2 cup (120 ml) buttermilk (nonie guna 1/2 cwn susu full cream dutch lady+1 sudu besar cuka biarkan 10minit)
1 tablespoon liquid red food coloring
1/2 teaspoon white distilled vinegar
1/2 teaspoon baking soda
Cream Cheese Frosting:
4 ounces (113 grams) cream cheese, room temperature
1/4 teaspoon pure vanilla extract
1/4 cup (30 grams) confectioners' (icing or powdered) sugar, sifted
1/3 cup (80 ml) cold heavy whipping cream(double cream) (35-40% butterfat)
cara-cara
- preheat oven to 175degree celsius
- in one container, sieve flour,baking powder and salt.set aside
- in a small container,combine cocoa powder and red coloring and stir well until form a paste
- beat butter with sugar until light and fluffy,add the eg,beat until blended.add vanilla extract and cocoa powder mixture,beat until well blended.
- add in sifted flour and buttermilk
- add baking soda and vinegar to your batter.stir well
- divide the batter evenly among the 12 muffin cups.
- bake for 18-20mins
- cool the cake on wire rack for 10minutes
- lets coolcompletely before frosting
- beat the cream cheese until smooth
- add vanilla and confectoner sugar beat until smooth
- add the heavy cream and whip until the frosting is thick enough to pipe
- add more sugar or cream as needed to get the right consistency
