~kek baldu merah~




dah lama pendam nak buat kek baldu merah nie a.k.a red velvet cake
nonie buat kek nie versi kek cawan
kalau google banyak link y kita dapat tuk resepi nie,semua lebih kurang sama jer bahan n cara dia
resepi yg nonie dapat nie dr website joyofbaking.

bahan-bahan

1 1/4 cups (125 grams) sifted cakeflour (nonie pakai tepung gandum

1/4 teaspoon salt

1 tablespoons (10 grams) regular or Dutch-processed cocoa powder(nonie gunaserbuk koko van-houtten)

1/4 cup (57 grams) unsaltedbutter, at room temperature

3/4 cups (150 grams) granulated whitesugar

1 large egg

1/2 teaspoon pure vanilla extract

1/2 cup (120 ml) buttermilk (nonie guna 1/2 cwn susu full cream dutch lady+1 sudu besar cuka biarkan 10minit)

1 tablespoon liquid red food coloring

1/2 teaspoon white distilled vinegar

1/2 teaspoon baking soda

Cream Cheese Frosting:

4 ounces (113 grams) cream cheese, room temperature

1/4 teaspoon pure vanilla extract

1/4 cup (30 grams) confectioners' (icing or powdered) sugar, sifted

1/3 cup (80 ml) cold heavy whipping cream(double cream) (35-40% butterfat)


cara-cara

  1. preheat oven to 175degree celsius
  2. in one container, sieve flour,baking powder and salt.set aside
  3. in a small container,combine cocoa powder and red coloring and stir well until form a paste
  4. beat butter with sugar until light and fluffy,add the eg,beat until blended.add vanilla extract and cocoa powder mixture,beat until well blended.
  5. add in sifted flour and buttermilk
  6. add baking soda and vinegar to your batter.stir well
  7. divide the batter evenly among the 12 muffin cups.
  8. bake for 18-20mins
  9. cool the cake on wire rack for 10minutes
  10. lets coolcompletely before frosting
cream cheese frosting
  1. beat the cream cheese until smooth
  2. add vanilla and confectoner sugar beat until smooth
  3. add the heavy cream and whip until the frosting is thick enough to pipe
  4. add more sugar or cream as needed to get the right consistency
